Honoring Dr. Martin King, Jr.'s Birthday

This week the students participated in a reader's theatre group reading about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Students learned that Dr. King's life was an extraordinary one, and that many people were treated unfairly due to the color of their skin. Students learned that Dr. King paved the way for the end of segregation in our country, and that his life was an example of persistence, hard work, and kindness.
