Peter Reynolds Activities

Author Peter Reynolds will be visiting Johnny Appleseed School next week. Today students worked on some projects after reading several of his books. One of the projects, based on the book Ish, involved having students create pumpkins and then make "ish" words to describe their creations. The pumpkins are currently hanging in our hallway.  Another activity was a STEM based project in which students worked in teams to create a tower for Vashti to live in.
