A notice was sent home today about our class's Brag Tag positive reinforcement program. Students receive brag tags throughout the year during special occasions, to celebrate birthdays, and to recognize good behavior. Each student has a necklace that he or she keeps at school and on Friday students get to wear their necklaces if they so choose. Today we also conducted a Saving Sam STEM activity in Science. Students had to rescue Sam the gummy worm who had lost his lifejacket. Using only paper clips, students worked together to rescue Sam and put the lifejacket back on him! The kids LOVED it!
