A Work in Progress! We are getting there! This week was very busy for the students. We spent a lot of time building community in our classroom. The students listened to the books The Name Jar, Chrysanthemum, Tikki Tikki Tembo, First Day Jitters, and Don't Eat The Teacher. The students also made a name bar graph, a birthday pictograph, and a "Ways We Get Home" pictograph.  Next week we will begin math as our workbooks arrived this afternoon. The kids were very excited to get their second grade math workbooks! We will also begin reading and in science we will be comparing and contrasting frogs and toads.
