Our first day of school was a success, and we have a classroom full of superheroes! Today we took the pledge to be kind to others, use patience, be good listeners, and to do our best work. Then we made superhero faces! We also spent a lot of time organizing our desks. Each student received a huge baggie to put extra supplies in. I keep the bags in a crate, and students can go to their bag to get extra supplies whenever they need them! Thank you for all of the donations that were sent in. I think I have enough tissues and Lysol wipes for an army!!!! Tomorrow I can't wait to see what the kids bring in to share in their All About Me paper bags!

I'll be picking you up in the gymnasium, where the grades 2 - 5 students are meeting. I have a lot of things planned for the first week of school, and got a lot of new books to read to you! You can bring a snack to school (no peanut products please).  Looking forward to meeting you!

Happy Summer! Here are some pictures of my vacation!

Hi everyone! My family went to Hyannis a few weeks ago and took a day trip to Nantucket. When we were at Nantucket we visited a Whaling Museum. On the roof of the museum you can see the harbor! It was a really beautiful day! I hope everyone is having a great summer and I miss you all.  Don't forget to read your book for fourth grade if you haven't started it yet...Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Blume.

Food For Thought

A notice was sent home today about a fraction celebration we will be having on Friday, May 13. Students will be using pizza and Hershey bars to compare fractions. We are asking each child to bring in a dollar by Wednesday, May 11th, to help defray the cost of the items. This activity will NOT take the place of lunch. Please also sign the permission to let your child take part in sampling the pizza and chocolate. Students who are unable to eat the pizza and/or chocolate are welcome to bring in a small snack as an alternative! Thank you!

FRIYAY!!!!

Happy Friyay! One week left! What an awesome day it is out there! I can't wait for next week! Report cards, FIVE Google Meets (all fun)...
