FRIYAY!!!!

Happy Friyay! One week left! What an awesome day it is out there! I can't wait for next week! Report cards, FIVE Google Meets (all fun), theme days, and being with my favorite class ever! You all rock and I am so proud of you! Today you can work on your memory book or Farm Day if you haven't started already. You do not have to turn them in but they are fun activities that I think you will like. Please keep practicing the song and poem. We will practice at Tuesday's meet. Have a super Friday kind of day!

Good morning! Today is Tuesday, June 9th. We have gym today. You will also be learning about FRICTION and there is a short activity for you to complete today. At 12:30 pm we are having Google Meet. We will learn a song and write a poem for Dr. O'Hearn Curran. I also have a story for us to read and discuss. Yesterday I went to Arlington National Cemetery and will show you some pictures of the trip. See you at 12:30 pm everybody!

Tuesday's Google Meet info

Hi kids - On Tuesday, our Google Meet will focus on learning a song for Dr. O'Hearn Curran. As you know, she is retiring. I thought it would be fun for us to learn a song and sing it to her during the last week of school at one of our Google Meets. So I hope you can come on Tuesday at 12:30 pm. It's "Mismatched Tuesday", so wear mismatched clothing! It will be fun. We will also write a poem that we will read to Dr. O'Hearn Curran and I have a story to read to you.

Guten Morgen! Today you will visit Germany so we are not having a Google Meet. This field trip is AMAZING! I just went on it and I learned all about how Mrs. Sullivan grew up there. You are going to see so many interesting things on your field trip, like visit a pencil factory and learn about cars from Germany. Mrs. Sullivan and her daughter Nadine have messages for you also when you start your tour. Please also do the written assignment at the end, and don't forget to finish and submit the following assignments if you haven't done so already: plant adaptations, commas, and heritage project. Have a fun trip today!

Good morning! It's Tuesday, June 2, 2020. We have phys ed today! You will also be doing an assignment on PLANT ADAPTATIONS. Check the assignment board! At 12:30 pm we have Google Meet. We are going to watch two videos about the space program and talk about the Dragon rocket that just carried two astronauts to space on Saturday! We will also read a story about astronauts! Thank you for the recipes that are coming in. I still need more so if you haven't submitted it, please do so! Yesterday's math question winner: Joshua Today's question: Mrs. Bianco heard a frog croak at Prospect Park's pond 6 times per minute. This noise went on for 12 minutes. Good morning! It's June 1st! Hurray! June is one of the most beautiful months of the year. I hope you had a great weekend. Today at our Google Meet we will be learning about two dimensional shapes in geometry. You will need paper and something to write with. During part of our lesson we will be going on a scavenger hunt to look for shapes around our house. Today's math question: Trenton has 50 minutes of computer time after school. How much computer time in minutes does he have in a week? A month (30 days)?

Hi everybody! How was your Unplugged Day? I am getting lots of pics and I promise to post them later today! We have art today and I would like for you to please take the subtraction quiz that is listed on the assignment/choice board. Tomorrow is our USA Google Meet, so please wear red, white, or blue if you can! Today's math question: Lucas found two snakes on his walk yesterday. Mrs. Wilson found zero snakes on her walk yesterday. If you combine the number of snakes they found and multiply that number by seven, how many snakes would there be? P.S. Mrs. Wilson HATES snakes and is very glad she didn't find any on her walk yesterday at Prospect Park.

Fun Friday!

Good morning! It's Friday, May 15th. We have library today with Mrs. Bradford and Google Meet at 1 pm. I hope you can come! Wear your favorite beach outfit and we will do some Go Noodle, watch a Turtle video, listen to a book reading, share our zoo animals, and play Hangman! 

Yesterday's math question winner: Joshua (The total was 185. Roy had 34, Vada had 39, CC had 68, and Josiah had 44).

Here is today's question: Broadway Kitty ate 3/4 of his small bowl of cat food. Bailey ate 1/2 of his extra large bowl of dog food. Broadway Kitty says he ate more because 3/4 is greater than 1/2. Do you agree with Broadway Kitty?
