Check out these photos from our gingerbread house and ornament activities this week! Thank you so much for all of the donated supplies! The students had a fantastic time!

A Visit from Peter Pan

Emma Waterhouse, who played Peter Pan at Leominster High School this month, visited our class to talk about what it is like to perform in a musical. We were also treated to a few songs on the morning announcements from a few of our third graders who also performed in the show!

RUMP FAIR

On November 3rd our school participated in a fair celebrating the school-wide read aloud, Rump. The book told the tale of Rumplestilskin, and how his story came to be. Students created pixie houses, and then went outside to participate in different activities associated with the book!

FLOODING EXPERIMENTS and STEM DESIGNS

In Science this Fall we conducted a lot of experiments to see how floods can effect a community. Students made retaining walls to prevent water from coming into particular locations. Check out these great photos of the outstanding STEM designs the students created!

Healthy Eating Choices Lesson

In late October Mrs. Hennessey visited us along with a dietician from Chartwell's. We talked about ways to make healthy food choices, and sampled some salad made from kale and cherries. We also drank some flavored water and talked about how we can stay healthy by eating foods with good nutrition!
