Third Grade Supply List

Last Monday in Second Grade

Tomorrow students can dress all in the same color for spirit week. We are also having a fake camp fire with s'mores. We'll be doing crafts and singing campfire songs! It should be a great day! Can't wait!  Thank you for the donations for the s'mores!

What's Going On This Week at School!

First of all, THANK YOU for a great time on Thursday's Poetry Open Mic. The kids loved having family members visit, and were able to show off their fabulous poems and writtten work! You were a wonderful audience and it took a LOT of courage for the kids to get up there and speak in public! I am so proud of all of them.  If you were not able to go to the Poetry Open Mic, please know that the Books and Beyond Ceremony is on FRIDAY, JUNE 9th at 9:30 am! Hope you or a family member can attend! If you are not able to attend I will make sure a picture is taken of your child with his/her medal. Please let me know if you need a picture and I will make sure you receive one!!!!!!!! Also on Friday I am having a pizza party for medal winners. Students are welcome to bring their lunch, drink,  and snack to school, but I am ordering pizza at lunchtime from Athens. Also, there is NO spelling list this week and NO regular reading log. Instead, students should be working on their heritage project which is due on Friday. We only have a few weeks left of school and I'm excited for a lot of exciting things going on!!!!!
