Community Reader Day
Thank you to Mrs. Lucille Sampson who visited us on Community Reader Day. Mrs. Sampson is a former music teacher in Leominster, and who loves visiting classrooms to read and play the keyboard. Mrs. Sampson read two very special books called We Are All Wonders and Fin Mc'Coul. She also played the organ and taught the students a song about Johnny Chapman.
April Vacation Math Challenge
Tomorrow I will be sending home information about the upcoming April Vacation math challenge. This is strictly optional, but is a great way to sharpen your math skills! Due April 23rd!
Symphony Math All Stars
Congratulations to the kids in 3F! They received wristbands from Mrs. King for being the class in Grades 1 - 3 with the most productive usage on Symphony Math. Thank you for your support at home!

Gingerbread Houses and Ornaments Galore

A Visit from Peter Pan
Emma Waterhouse, who played Peter Pan at Leominster High School this month, visited our class to talk about what it is like to perform in a musical. We were also treated to a few songs on the morning announcements from a few of our third graders who also performed in the show!
RUMP FAIR
On November 3rd our school participated in a fair celebrating the school-wide read aloud, Rump. The book told the tale of Rumplestilskin, and how his story came to be. Students created pixie houses, and then went outside to participate in different activities associated with the book!
